strange books you have read

I read a really interesting fantasy book in high school called The Silver Metal Lover. It was about the future and in it all these women had robot lovers in the house to do their bidding. Well, this teenager falls inlove with one and they run away. It's an interesting story.

I'm a college student, so the strangest thing I've ever had to read, was for my Human Sexuality class. The book dealt with courtesans, and recognizing your body, and it was just bizarre. I found myself rather dumbfounded midway through, as if I was expected to relate to these real life accounts. I don't remember the title completely, but it was something that I wish I didn't have to read!
