Do any of you singers like to sing show tunes. Personally, that's what I'm focused on. I hope to take my career to broadway.

I do not sing professionally but have been involved in music studies by watching people who pursued this career. It involves a strong ability to perform in high school, take private lessons, attend a college to obtain a Broadway musical degree. After all of this, you need to have a means of support while you audition for roles in New York. The work is up and down. Rejection is a part of the job, but I do know that if that is what you want to do and you are willing to pay the price in working hard and also be realistic about your singing, there may be a chance.

I personally like to sing songs from broadway musicals.I used to take voice lessons and most of the songs I sang were from plays like Miss Saigon, Les Miserables, Sunset Boulevard, etc.. Although, only a few people I know like these kinds of songs, it doesn't bother me because I know that I'm enjoying it.. I hope that you'll make it through xxxbroadwayxxx....
