"Watch Me Shine" is actually not in the stage musical. Was it in one of the movies? I don't remember.

Yes, the song Watch Me Shine was in the first Legally Blonde movie. It was the music playing in the background when Elle started to be serious with studying. This was after her stupid ex told her at the party that she couldn't do it. After that, she bought a laptop, started studying and that music was playing in the background. I love that song too. It's so fitting for Elle's situation. She really outshone them all because of her hard work and dedication. I especially love the lyrics especially the part which said: I'm gonna prove that I can conquer anything and I'm not gonna give up until I get what's mine. Way to go Elle!

I haven't seen it, but if it ever comes to Holland I will be sure to go and see it. I do know that Hairspray will finally be staged here and I am sure to get tickets for that show aswell. I love the DVD that came out some time ago and it can only be better if it's a live version. Going to the theatre is my favourite outing.

I was so firmly against them turning Legally Blonde into a musical at first... The movie is SO well written, expertly cast, and totally amazing. But... ultimately, I got talked into listening to it and seeing it with my friends, and now I think it's hilarious, uplifting, and totally fun as a musical. I love it!
