If you are asked to save the world, what will you do?

I'd be freaking shocked and the first thing I would utter is a big WHAT?! lol Of course, like that would really happen. Well, hypothetically speaking, I would then find my mates and we're gonna be a team like... wait, is this discussion watchmen-inspired? well anyway, yeah, we'll build a team like watchmen, x-men, or justice league, something like that, lol. If I would be destined to do that, then I'll do it. It would be such a huge honor to save the world and it's a nice feeling to help.

~ If I ruled the world ~ everyday would be the first day of spring ~ ~ Every heart would have a new song to sing ~~ I remember that is one of the songs from Junior High choir from 1971 or so ... What one can do, is what everyone willing to do it can do ... Sit down, take a few deep breaths, clear your mind ... It may take several tries, even over several days, but it is possible. Just stop the hassle your mind gives you every single day. We're not in traffic now at this moment, we are not at work at this moment. The kids are all in bed ... Everything that happened in the past happened in the past and is not happening now. It is just you and the floor (or chair, or bed, whatever you choose) ... Now ask yourself, how do you contribute to the violence? What grudges do you hold for something that happened moments, hours, years, decades ago? Road rage was a factor for me when I was driving, thinking every single driver other than me should have their license revoked for total incompetence. That is why I don't drive anymore. Unfortunately I still have to deal with drivers as a pedestrian ... I'm learning. How about you? How much screaming or finger waving do you do? What is your attitude toward other groups ... race, religions, orientations, etc. - Are you open to the idea that they are just other people, just like you? What is your environmental impact? Are you doing your part to use less resources? Look at yourself honestly, and determine a course of action. The more people who do this, the more the world would not need saving. It would already be done.

I'd probably laugh. If I'm the destined savior of the Earth, it's in pretty deep trouble. ;-)

well practically speaking it is almost impossible now. Still lets get hypothetical. I will start a chain letter with the message "save the Earth, stop, felling trees, grow more..." the letter finally would be handed over to the secretary general of the UN and in its general conference all countries would agree upon the verdict passed there itself that no country whatever would allow deforestation and ban the age old polluting industries. I hope this would work.

Well there'd have to be a reason why he or she had chosen me right? Something that made me different from the other 3 billion people on the planet? So I'd have to have some kind of gift or power or strength which no one else had right? If I were to ever find out that I was special... a hero? I'd be so overjoyed. I'd gladly step up to try and save the world, even if it meant my life. I'd rather go out a hero than as nothing.

I would say "Ok, if I am the selected hero of the earth eventhough you have no idea what I could NOT do seeing that I am as fragile and skinny as you are then I guess I better go to that phone booth, spin myself around, then change myself to become Superman. Then with my super cool red and blue costume I'm gonna go fly around this planet and see what's going on cause you have not told me what kind of catastrophe is going to happen yet.
