Slumdog Millionaire got the Best Music, really?

First, let me make it clear... I am a fan (not a fantic) of A R Rahman..
But I can't digest the fact that Slumdog Millionaire fetched 2 Oscars for him.. The Soundtrack was nothing exceptional.. He deserved the Oscars, but not for SM..
His performances in Indian movies are far better, and everyone who listens to Bollywood/Kollywood soundtracks will accept that..

I liked the soundtrack of the movie and do not see a lot of Indian movies except the ones that come to cinema or are a bit famous that I can know them since i'm not from there. Can you tell me the name of the song please?
