Mahatma Gandhi-no need of an introduction.He was leader of Indian Freedom Movement.He was a great visionary. He was a social entrepreneur. Do you know anything about social entrepreneurship ? Entrepreneur starts business or industry to make profit.He wants his own growth.He wants all benefits for him.He never wants any social benefit.He is not much interested in social progress or development.He does everything for money.He gives something to society and takes many thing from society. Social entrepreneur does business or industry.He gains from it.But,he wants something more than profit.He aims social development and progress.He does business for society.He makes profit to do social activities.He gives more to society and takes less from society. Gandhiji`s Khati movement is a best example for social enterprise.It was a great movement at the time of Freedom Movement.It got roots in every part of India.But,now it is not in a good condition.`Khati` is going to an end. Social entrepreneurship is a good way to face problems of Global recession.global recession is a product of corporate world.Corporate world wants profit only.It never wants social development and progress.It takes every thing from the society and gives some thing to society.Corporate people do business with society`s money and make profit.They are most selfish.They are gambling with people`s money.
