advantages of joint family

Joint family is healthy or not? This is my first question. Does anybody have any good experiences of this concept. I am in favor of joint family. Though it is uncomfortable sometimes, it is always helpful many times. People can come forward with their opinions.

Hi there... I have a friend who lives in a joint family ,and they all are enjoying each others success very well. As for the general opinion it is a lot good on everyone to be in a joint family ,but unfortunately ego breeds up and so there is always a split. If the family has a good support with each other and are doing related business with each other it will surely be a good sign of a long standing joint family . Cheers ...
