What do think when you happen to see a guy beating his dog?

I think I would have said something if I saw him myself. I love animals and hate people who hurt them and treat them badly. Unfortunately the laws are not quite in favour of animals though here they had to be amended due to pressure from animal rights organisations. So to report to SPCA or Police you also need to know who the person is as by the time you go to report he would have left.

I haven't seen this happen but if I did I wouldn't intervene as, if he beats his dog he will probably be a violent person and hit anyone who spoke up. I would try to contact the RSPCA and get him banned from keepng animals.

I would be livid. And I know in some countries this would be odd for a woman to do, but I'd go up to the person and get angry. The dog has no one to stand up for it! I'd also probably try to get more information, because here if we report animal abuse, the police will investigate, take the dog away and try to find a home for it, and the man might have been arrested. I feel worried when others don't mind animal abuse. Don't they know it can lead them to abusing people as well? I can see you were concerned, that is good. I don't think in your situation you could have done much, but at least you cared.

well dont mind that guy, its not ur business. its their choice if they want to hurt their pets. actually they should respect the animals because the creator creates that too like us. so we should treat them the way we want to treat us by others eventhough it was an animal.

It is difficult to say whether the man is right or not. It seems that it is cruel to beat a dog! But long ago I had a dog that is so inhumane that he bit my little sister and she was hurt badly, which made me heart-broken. You know the dog is my lovely pet and my little sister who is my dearest relative and I love her so much. What I should do? I din't beat the dog but sent it to others. And it took long for me to update myself. I miss the dog until now! You topic have made me recall the most beautiful memory in my deep heart! Thank you so much!
