It has been a long time since I passsed the 500 mark but I can honestly say I hardly ever use that privilege. The only times I use it is to post the link to the Guidelines and the FAQs when I'm answering questions on here and when I'm commenting I will somtimes c/p part of a user's rsponse to comment back on it. That is all. It is against the rules and illegal to copy parts of the web and use it as a discussion without quoting the source. Iprefer to use my own thoughts and not those of others for my discussions so only very, bery rarely have I ever c/p a link too. I guess you could use it to type your discussions into word and then paste them into a discussion but I have not used it for that purpose either. A lot of fuss about nothing if you ask me! hello ljbinkop good luck to you in reaching the five hundred mark around here at Mylot. you do not have far at all to go until you reach that goal. and you should read the Mylot guidelines before that you copy and paste anything. and as far as making extra money by copy and pasting something, make sure that you do not violate any copyright laws. i really do not see a need for copy and pasting unless a member around here at Mylot wants to add some kind of a link or something like that. and your not allowed to copy and paste the same article multiple times either. so be careful when that you do reach the five hundred mark here at Mylot, when or if that you do decide to copy and paste something. happy Mylotting! take care and have a beautiful day today!

Hello ljbinkop! I know how you really feel right now. I felt it too. I am too excited to reach my 3000 posts that's why I posts and posts here. When I reached my 500 posts, I am too excited about it. But now, I rarely use it. I don't think copy and pasting will help in our earnings. What important is your response and copy and pasting will only help us to emphasize more on what we said but I guess we are still evaluated using our own words. Anyway, goodluck on your 500 posts. I know you can make it. A of now, you have your 412 posts so go! go! go!...hehehe

Congrats ljbinkop, yes cut and paste does help, for it is easier to copy an paste and saves time. anyone disagree?

Yeah, just try to post more and you will reach another milestone in Mylot:) I don't often cut and paste to post here. As it spends longer time finding the material. Perhaps it's faster to type by myself. I love China

Congrats! Keep posting and you are getting very closer to your 500th post.I reached my 500th post last month,and I was also very excited.I dont use cutting and pasting much coz I dont think theres much need to do so.Happy mylotting!

Pasting links is so much easier than copying them! However, be sure that you're not pasting links that aren't related to the discussion at hand - I got reprimanded for using my link as a signature when I post response :P I'm never doing that again. Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Congratulations and good luck! I think 500 is a huge milestone on myLot, not only because of copy + paste privileges, but it seems like 500 (or around there) is where a lot of members reach their first payout. Pretty cool, if you ask me! My goal is to reach 500 this month too! Happy mylotting!

hiii dear friend congrats...And then i am also very nearer to the 500 posts..But i am very lazy here in mylot..And i am posting only 1 post for a day..I made 450 responses in discussions before 2 weeks and then i am just at 487...So see how i am lazy..I am thinking that for me it again take a week to cross the number 500..I am little busy now a days so i am at 487..Any way congrats for u..But don't do copy and paste multiple times..That is dont paste the same matter multiple times..be careful while doing copy and paste..if u paste the same matter multiple times your post will delete surely and then your earnings will be deducted...Happy mylotting..keep smiling..cheers..

I am just like you, i was on my way to earn my 500th post so that i can use the copy paste thing, but one mylotter told me that even if i have the privilege to use the copy paste, i am still limited to use it. It is ok, as long as it does not make me plagiarize. I am still opt for contributing my idea based on my own opinion. Anyway happy Mylotting. I am sure you can reach your 500th post in no time.

Well, I've never heard anything about the 500 posts or the copy and paste thing? I know how to copy and past and I use it to copy my responses and paste to my notepad in case I loose my signal so I don't have to re-write everything again. I guess there is still alot I have to learn here about Mylot. I know I'm having a blast and am enjoying every day seeing my account balance go up:) Good luck and congrats on hitting 500!!

Good luck in getting so far, it won't be long before you get to the magic 500 posts which everybody aims for so that they 'copy and paste', but to be honest with you, I still haven't made use of this facility, I don't see any need for it after all the waiting. Good Luck and Happy MyLotting
