which is worse

which do you think is worse a sunburn from being out in the sun or a sunburn from a tanning bed??? Its a toss up huh. I know neither one is fun. I have had a sunburn from being in the tanning bed and its a pain. Its hard to take a shower. it hurts so bad when the water hits it. Yesterday I was out in the sun playing baseball with my son and some friends and I got burnt on my shoulders and face. I don't mind the water running on it, it actually feels good, but just sitting here on the computer as it is dry it freaking hurts LOL.

I have seen statistics that a tanning bed is much worse than being in the sun. Both hurt and you should be careful not to burn.

Being burnt from a tanning bed is definitely worse than being burnt from the sun. When you're under a bunch of bulbs you get UV rays at a WAY more intense rate than when outside under the sun. *sigh*. Have you tried some aloe vera? And maybe next time you shouldn't go for quite as long in the tanning bed, or jump out when you're feeling too hot?

sun bed is defo worse and more dangerous as you are being blitz with a days sun in minutes. plus if your in the sun then you will generally have some sort of sun block on in the tanning salon you wont.
