Like myself, my oldest daughter is on Facebook, she's nearly 22, and has moved out now, and because she's working all the time, don't see her as much as I'll like, so Facebook is good, I can talk with her most nights and its also good to keep in touch with grandparents abroad. Well my problem is my second daughter who is seventeen has just joined. She put all the grandparents, her sister, aunties ect on her friends list, but will not let me be on the list. She says she doesn't want me seeing all her photo's and her life ect.
This has hurt me abit, but can also see her side, as she still lives at home, but why let other members of the family see her profile then and not me, do you think she's right?

Well Amanda, I for one would be very worried if my Daughter did not let me on her Facebook page, and I would cancel it if I were you, or not let her use your computer. I had similar issues with my teenager being on Facebook and posting things that I thought were inapropriate, and because I was on her friends list, I was able to reign her in. Everything put on Facebook is kept by Facebook, and if she is posting pictures that she shouldn't you should get on that right away!
I think Facebook has some really great qualities, but it has some downs, too. I love keeping in touch with people from my past, and I love keeping up with present friends on it, but I still don't trust any site that lets you ust put it all out there and keeps my information forever. Be very careful!
