I hadn't planned on watching Dancing with the Stars this season. There really wasn't anyone I wanted to see on the show. Now I just might have to watch. I liked Melissa and thing Jason did her wrong by announcing he was dumping her on national TV.

I really enjoyed the first 2 or maybe the third also... seasons, but the more recent ones... they are just more about who wins than what is done. To much personal dramatics! I'll catch it tonight and see tho... I usually just watch the first one and not the voted off one.

I love Dancing with the Stars and she will be a good addition. I really hoped that she would be the Bachelorette. She deserves to meet a good man after what that idiot Jason did to her. I hope that she makes it to the end.

In my opinion...anyone that is "cast off" on either bachelor or bachelorette, should not be surprised or hurt. I just don't see how literally only spending a few hours with a stranger can give anyone enough time to decide if they love that person enough to marry them. Only one marriage has happened out of all the episodes of both series put together! Not being chosen is probably a good thing - you don't picked and then dropped!!!

Melissa is not a real star and will not get by on sympathy votes for very long. I am not sure that very many people even know who she is. Although from reading your article, she has the training necessary to do fairly well. I guess we will just have to wait and see. There are other stars with bigger followings who may send her home early. Only one more day!

There have been others that have not been "hot" stars like Kelly Monico from the first season .. a soap actress. But yeah, not to well known but still.. if she has the ability she'll go a ways, until she is up against a famous favorite! Sad but true... often it is not how well one dances, but "who" they are that determines the votes. I don't vote at all!

Well the sad thing about TV today is that this girl will make money, no matter what she does. I am a big fan of Dancing With The Stars, and I look forward to seeing her preform, but I don't have high hopes for her on that show. To win there, you need to be a really good dancer, and also have a really big following of people in order to get the votes, and I don't see it happening for her. It's the jocks that usually win it. I wish her the best of luck, but maybe she should try out for Playboy instead... She would get exposure at least!

The first 2 seasons were pretty "honest" for lack of better word, but lately..it is "who" they are not how well anyone dances. And it is hard to judge totally fairly as they have such a variety of abilities doing the same dances....82 year olds doing the same dances as the 25 year olds....men doing the same dance as the women, but not having to do as much as the women do... haven't seen to many men being bounced around! But it is still fun to watch. I never vote and dont' often even tune in to the voting show for this reason. I just wnat to watch and enjoy.

never really watched these show as wife does and sucked me into the first we joke now about how none of the relationships work, like you can meet the love of your life on tv in six weeks. This last one once i read acouple of the spoilers we checked it out stunning to break up with a finace and make out wit hanother girl on nation tv not a half hour later. We thought as you she was the next bacholorette but when nancy o dell and jewel needed to be repelaced she is a good fit she is not a star though, but neither are most of the other contestants. We do watch DWTS so i will be watching

I don't watch Bachelor either - did this time just the last show to see what the hoopla was all about. Its such a joke...like you said..find the love of your life in 6 weeks based only on literally a couple hours with that specific person when all is said and done? Yeah, right!! And although they all say "I intend to find my wife" or "she's the love I have been looking for"...back home, none of them have ever gotten married!! I do watch DWTS tho, that is entertaining... who is replacing Jewll? I hadn't heard she was being replaced. Hope Ty Murray stays with it!

I don't watch it either... just did this last show out of morbid curiousity from all the hoopla on the previews. I think the whole thing is so stupid....can't believe people actualy watch it! I mean, if they did that in real life...they'd be thrown in jail for Indecent Behavior or something!
