What makes us, US?

What are we? Have you ever wondered what makes us who we are? Are we a series of thoughts? And if we are where do our thoughts come from? Are we a spirit looking out into the world from inside a flesh body? And if so what does a spirit look like? If you lose an arm are you still you? If you lose a leg are you still you? How many limbs can you lose b4 you stop being you? The person that goes to bed at night and wakes in the morning. The world that's inside our head that has no limitation as long as imagination is present. Deep down inside what are we? Are we more than just flesh and blood? Are we more than just physical beings? What makes us, US? Not our reflection or what we see in the mirror, but what we are when we close our eyes and think. The place inside ourselves where questions are silently answered, where dreams are born, and where Will out weighs fear. Are we a soul? And if so, can souls die? What makes us, US?
