How would you do to become a best salesperson?? Is it the dress when the first time they see you? I think to show confidence is very important in a sales talk, though sometimes you must know how to end a conversation and easily close it.. what do you think?

I think it's important for them to dress and act friendly and professional. I also personally like for them to be realistic; and understanding, instead of just pushy.

I suggest you read the book, The Greatest salesman in the world by Og Mandino. It's a wonderful book and it isn't a big book, about 100 and odd pages. To become the best salesman it needs much more than just sales talk and skills. I think everyone should do some sales especially before becoming an entrepreneur. Some of the greatest entrepreneurs are great salesmen first. I think Bill Gates is a terrific marketer. Some of the sales tips are, - Know the product - Smile - Be polite - Speak in a tone which is stronger than the customer, stronger or equal - Be confident, dress well - KISS - Keep it simple stupid / Keep it short and simple - Closing (crucial) - Assume sales - Build a personal rapport - Ask questions about family, kids but don't be too nosy - Don't degrade the customers - Know the customers, analyse them - Ask questions and know what they want These are a few techniques. There are many like asking questions specifically to get an Yes or a No always, etc
