Where is Spring? Has it had a chance to Spring much for many of you here yet? I live in the Seattle, WA area and we have been having Strange weather for sure. In the last 2 days we have seen Snow flurries on and off, and it even stuck on the ground in some areas as well. The weather has also had a very cold wind to it as well.
So I was thinking here it is Spring forward with promises of Spring, but for some reason it is not making me think of Spring here. I really do wish that we could see Spring here as I am ready, but I guess mother nature is not ready to let us see it. Our normal temperatures are supposed to be in the high 50s for this time of yr. So I am beginning to really wonder where Spring and warm weather is. If any of you are experiencing nice weather, can you PLEASE send some my way.

I am very fortunate to be living in a tropical country where we enjoy sunshine throughout the year. But sometimes I wish there is snow here as I have never experience what it is like to live in a cold climate. I bet it is nice to hibernate in the comfort of our bed when it is cold outside.

Well, Tina, I think we had our weather switched around, because here in Chicago we got tons of rain. Like up to 4 inches of rain in some areas. But, I'm sorry, I'm not gonna trade it for your snow...we've had enough of that this year already. Actually, I came out and said that during one of the downpours today...."it could be worse, this could all be snow". For us this time of year, snow is entirely possible, more often probable. So with every day that passes and there's none of that white stuff falling to the sky, I'm one happy camper. Better luck to you.

Well in Toronto. Ontario, Canada we recently had a warm day, then rain for a whole day, then a snowy morning, then another warm day.
Obviously something is wrong here. We really need to stop burning fossil fuels and chopping down the rainforest. Something really bad is happeneing and its effecting our weather patterns drasticly. We need to start to be more green and stop thinking about the money green by cutting down trees for development and burning fossil fuels for gas and money. We need to build a fully electric car so we would have not much further use to burn Fossil Fuels. We need to stop the deforestation so that the trees can produce photosynthesis and create oxygen for us to breathe, because we are letting out more carbon dioxide than the trees and plants are letting out oxygen. Once we reach this neutral level then everything will be fine again.

We had heavy falls of snow over the last couple of days, not unusual for the west coast of Scotland though at this time of year. Spring daffodils are already out as well.
All I can say is thank goodness for Global Warming, don't know how bad the weather would have been otherwise.

Saturday was a nice day here. It was very mild, but cloudy. Sunday we got rain but this morning it is snowing! I can't believe it! We went all weekend in light spring jackets, crocs with no socks and today the show is flying. My daughter just got on the bus with just a hoodie on! Hopefully it doesn't stick.

I'm so sorry! We live in Virginia and just had two of the most beautiful days here. Saturday it got up to 76 F and Sunday hit 77 F. But it's beginning to cool off again.
Spring doesn't officially start until March 21st or 22nd, so I kind of expected it to cool off again, but at least it's not supposed to be below freezing during the day for the next week, anyway. The end of the week should see some freezing temps overnight, but in the 50's during the day.
I don't understand why daylight savings time changed. It's actually making my brain hurt, with us "springing forward" so early now. It used to happen in the Spring which is where "Spring forward" came from, but now it's happening in the Winter. I'd love to know who decided to change it to the end of Winter!
I'd love to send you some beautiful weather, as it's 63 deg. F right at the moment, but is supposed to go down into the 50's later today, then get even colder as the week progresses. Not fair!!! We just got a tease, just a taste of Spring, enough to get our hopes up!
But, at least I was able to get outside this weekend and do some fishing and get quite a bit of yardwork done before it got colder. My son came over for the weekend and we got a "goose barricade" set up at their favorite spot to come out of the lake and right into my garden, we got a huge tree that had fallen during one of our really bad windstorms here this past winter chopped up, cleared out the weeds from my herb garden and transplanted some daffodils and tulips. Oh, MAN, are my muscles sore right now!!! LOL Also, my nose got a bit of sunburn.
I don't know if it's better if the weather just warms up gradually or if we get a taste of Spring early, then have it snatched away.
Either way, I think our entire country is having some pretty weird weather lately. Hopefully, you'll get your warmer weather soon. Spring really IS right around the corner now!

Hi Tina! I know what you mean! Even though we did have to change
the clocks, we are still having temps in the 40's here too! I
am hoping we are done with the snow, but I wouldn't count it
out yet either! I did finally hear some birds chirping yesterday
which was a good sign that Spring is not too far off! But, it
still will be a bit longer before the temps will stay in the
50's I think! I guess we will just have to hang in there just
a little bit longer!
