i don't think thirst can ever be stopped. just quenched. yeah quenching your thirst with water or fruit juices is healthier than drinking sodas, yeah but nothing's wrong with having sodas once in a while. cause sodas are yummy!! especially when taken super cold

Please try to add some lemon juice drops and gulucose, when you take your glass(es) of water. Hope it will help quench your thirst. It hardly matters even if you consume more glasses of water, it will de-toxify your body.

I drink a lot of water anytime and when it is summer even more.
When I need to go somewhere or do something I drink a lot of water.
I could advise you to eat less meat.

First thing is that, thirst is a sign that you are lacking fluids in your body and in short you are dehydrated. As you said it that summer is fast approaching (at least in my area) so there are so many ways of losing those precious liquids from our body. But on the other hand, don't be fooled with thirst also since there are other illness that would give you this kind of symptom. One of those is endocrine problems. If this condition of yours gets worse or become really unusual to you then it would be wise and appropriate to get opinions from professionals.

Hello,Chaitra! It sometimes so happen during summer that you can't end your thirst after drinking lots of water. It so happens because your body is dehydrated. So after drinking two or three glasses of normal water if you feel the thirst then drink a cup of hot tea.You will not feel thirsty again because it will enhance your body temperature to negotiate your body with that of atmospheric temperature.thanx.

Why not try lemon juice? It is cheap now in India and it is the right fruit juice for Indian summers. It helps to keep the body cool and would keep your thirst at check. Also, water melons will help reduce body heat and so the thirst too.Try all this and get relieved from thirst.Cheers!

Water , tender coconut & fruit juices are not a bad idea for a shorter duration of time.I have heard that drinking hot tea or coffee will serve the purpose.I know its easy said than done.I too prefer juices & cold water rather than hot coffee or tea.Buttermilk is not a bad option either.

You seem to be too thirsty. Just think of the people living in the desert areas where both are available - thirst and no water. It should lessen your thirst a bit.
Or see a doctor for a person can not feel all the while thirsty. some thing is wrong my friend.

I do feel thirsty too but i used to drink a lot of fruit juices, cold cold water, Gatorade and eat frozen sweets like ice candy that i make at home. For me i can say that Gatorade quenches my thirst and this is what i carry along with me in the gym.
Although Gatorade is kinda expensive here in India, i still prefer to buy two or three and stock it in the fridge.
I also do eat ice cream and then after that drink cold water and my thirst will be gone. I don't know about the summer here in India, it is really really hot.

Well, it is not Summer here. It is getting close to Spring though. I can't wait until Winter is over. It sounds like you are doing pretty good. Water and Coconut are great options, that are really good for you. I don't think there is anything beter than those for when you are thirsty.

Hi,i think it's a normal reaction of feeling thirsty in summer.Do you always do some activities and work then sweat all over? Then you will feel thirsty sure, because, when people sweat, the body will lost agreat deal of water in which there are many dissolved salt and minerals. So you must supplement water(with some salt will be more better) to your body as much as you can and as so as possible, don't be lazy to drink water ,or,it's harmful to your body.In a word, there are not very good methods to stop thirsty ,the most simple as well as th most effective way is drinking water as much as you can.

I suggest that you shouldn't drink fruit juices and coconuts very much.Instead of them ,you should drink more plain water.I think It is not a kind of disease, just because of the season turned and you have internal heat.Good luck and take care of yourself.

Not to scare you or anything, but have you had your blood sugar checked? One of the main symptoms of Diabetes is being constantly thirsty. If its really that bad you might want to do a blood sugar test at the doctor.
I feel very thirsty when it is hot and I am working outside, but a glass of water always does the trick. Also try replenishing your body with not just water because your body loses sodium and potassium as well...a banana should help.
