If you like to do a bit of gardening, just for relaxation may be, buy a town house. If you will be happy just for having a spacious place to live, then go for a condominium.

Well, it's really up to you.. if you want to live in a house where there are complete facilities and amenities then i suggest that you buy a condominium unit.. my hubby and i used to live in a studio type apartment in the north but after a year, we have decided to transfer to the south and moved in in a studio type condominium unit.. i can say that condominium life is way better than the apartment life as all you need to survive every life is right here.. they have 24 hour store, laundry service, water refilling station, mini bar and grill, computer shop, travel agency, swimming pool, playground and mini gym..

Personally I would think overall your Best Bet would be a Town Home. I think overall they seem to keep up their value more, and are usually also a little more private and bigger as well. I know about a yr. ago my husband and I looked at a couple of Townhomes as well, and I would rather live in a Townhome anyday compared to the Condo my husband bought before we were married for sure.

i like townhouses more because i always felt like it was more of a house since it had two floors but it got annoying going up and down the stairs all the time and some times the layout is crappy because of it having two floors.. i guess it really depends on if you mind stairs or the particular layout since townhouses are usually not really open in layout
