Hello, I am desperate need of help. I am so new to Photoshop and I am creating buttons, but have looked and looked and I am frustrated that I cannot find out how to erase the background (white or grey or transparent) so I can then just save the button as a .*Jpeg and then import it where I need to (w/out all that white space). I can't believe i have searched all over found nothing (5 hours)It should be something so simple, yet I can't find it. Please help me! Thanks.

Hello man you are trying to save your image in JPG format for button .its is not worth doing and second minus point is that if you are create slightly rounded buttons rather than square than it dont save in jpg as is covers transparent space with white image save it in pN or GIF. For deleting the background For types of technques 1:-Bys elcting with crop tool 2:-by selecting withpen tool 3:-by deleting with magic eraser 4:-By extarct filter in filters 5:- by color range tools

First, make the background layer invisible, then save it. If you save it as JPEG, it will always have a background. If you want to save an image without a background, you should save it in either GIF or PNG format. Happy myLotting!
