It all depends on what is wrong with it, I have very thin enamel and often have pain the go away, I have a special treatment the Dentist gave me that helps. If you have decay you might get it filled, or a root canal they only pull as last resort.

Root canals are to expensive. I think last time I got it checked they wanted to put a crown on it. I cant afford it way to much money so I am either going to have to deal with it or eventually get it pulled.

hello moneymommy
i feel for ya, i have had a tooth bothering me now for about a good week now, if not longer. my gums swelled up, and the roof of my mouth is sore now from where that my gums swelled like that they did. i think that what my problem is, is that i just need to make myself a Dentist appointment and have my teeth cleaned really good. i do see some plaque on my teeth on that one side, so hopefully, when that i do get to go to the Dentist, i will not have to have anything pulled. i have been rinsing with straight peroxide to help kill the pain, and i have been taking either tylenol's or ibuprofen's to help with the mouth pain that i have been having to put up with lately. and i guess that you need to go see the Dentist as well, make yourself an appointment somewhere, and go from there. i hope that you do not have to get your tooth pulled either. it sure sucks aging and having to deal with teeth that hurt.
take care and have a beautiful day today!

Not necessarily. It might mean you have a cavity and it needs to be filled. I wouldn't get it pulled until it was x-rayed and the dentist determined what was wrong. If it's absessed, you would be in alot of pain and to my knowledge the dentist won't pull it until the infection is gone. Usually causes the tooth to break in several pieces. I've had alot of dental work done over the years and this has been my experience with a toothache. Hope you feel better soon.

often a painful tooth doesn't need to be removed. there's lots of other causes to pain than just needing to be taken out.
it could even be as simple as enamel wear making it more sensitive, and giving you pangs, which can be helped just by rubbing toothpaste onto the tooth and leaving it.
or you may just need a filling to remove damaged tooth and replace it with a material to stop the hole continuing to decay, and in doing so, stopping it hurting.
so it really might not be that the tooth needs to come out.

No,don't pull it! you know what, I have regretted that I had one of my teeth pulled out! not only extremely painful also it is not good for your mouth. I have experienced personally! Good luck! By the way, do you have ginger which can relieve your pain.

you might be able to get by with a root canal - but it costs more than pulling - but only a dentist could tell you what is really wrong
I have a tooth that hurts, but it isn't really the tooth, since I did have a root canal on it, the ache happens when I get sinus pressure in the area
My roomie, on the other hand, had terrible sinus headaches until she got one tooth pulled....

Clean or brushing from dentle cleaning one time in every six months.
Our tooth always make cavities, so after couple of months everty tooth has its own cavities, so if you clean very once in six months than you all tooths problem will solve and you enjoy always eating everything.

REFLEXOLOGY METHOD
Honestly speaking, I used reflexology method to "shut down" my toothache. It crossed your side part between tooth and toe. Let say, your toothache on the right jaw and the cross sectioning will go to your left toe. At your left toe, its "effective nerve point" is on the skin part slightly close to the nail.
ACTIVATION AND EFFECTIVENESS
You press on it(effective nerve point) by using your right thumb. If you do it now, you can feel instantly the "shut down" toothache. Just remember, the cross left-right and right-left crossing between your tooth and toe.

I don't think the tooth needs to be pulled. You can just put salt in warn water and keep the liquid in the mouth to ease the pain. You can also have calcium supplements to give more strength to your teeth.Recently i have tooth pain.also the gums around my teeth got swollen after that. Now everything is normal. No pain ans i can eat properly.

Don't pull the tooth if it can be saved. It may cost a bit of money, but it's always better to save a tooth if possible. Go to the dentist and see what s/he says.

No , getting it pulled should be the last option. Pulling out the teeth will weaken both the teeths next to it.
This is most probably just a cavity that can be filled.
If it is even more decayed, root canal is also an option which is better than pulling the teeth.

I've had one a year ago and it happened after I forgot to brush my teeth for a few consecutive nights lol (don't ask). It went away after I started brushing again. Probably want to get a dentists opinion but if it's not much of a bother then you can wait for a week to see if it goes away or not.

the only one who knows if it needs to be pulled is your dentist, sometimes it is pus in the gums or other things.

Don't worry, usually the dentist will just try to fix your tooth when you have a dental problem. A toothache doesn't mean that the dentist has to pull it. But the toothache is so suffering and it's better for you to go to see your dentist when it's a minor problem. As it can grow worse and at that time the case will be serious.

See a dentist right away. You probably don't need to have the tooth pulled, but you may need a filling, a crown, or even a root canal.

the dentist can pobably tell you what is the best think for you to do.but personally i believe if you can save a tooth you should really try to save it.the longer you can keep your teeth the better off you are.
