Should we have Daylight Saving Time?

I heard on the news that losing that hour of sleep causes a lot of problems on the heart. I'm not a morning person myself... What do you think of Daylight Saving Time? Love it or leave it?

Hi. jazzyjess. Welcome to myLot! I like it when I am able to stay up late during the evening time. I don't really love the time change because I have ended up losing a lot of sleep. As soon as I lay down for the night, it is time for me to get right back up again. I am so tired then, I am so ready to relax and unwind too.

I find it very useful in winter as there is a difference between the summer and winter months in daylight, it makes the difference between leaving home in the morning with a little daylight or in dark night. Countries that have stable days that both in winter and summer have similar hours of daylight probably don't need to worry as much with daylight saving. Traditionally people that lived off the land would sleep more in winter and less in summer as the days are longer so I don't think it made such a difference in their lives but in cities with the standardization of everything where someone works the exact same hours and sleeps the exact same amount in summer or winter may result in some physical ailments, it is possible. Time will tell.
