i mean in a relationship? does age gets in the way for one couple to bond? does maturity level coincide with the age of each partner? if so, what is the proper age for each one to have in order to have a good relationship? right now i am 5 yrs older than my husband and so far i we had quite several disagreements but we promise each other we must have a compromise. how about you?

I don't think that the mental maturity hasn't go anything with the age. Some people get wise later in their lives. Some people never get matured till they die. Some people are so mellowed and matured at their tender age itself. There are so many factors and family background that contribute to a person's mental maturity. So it all depends on the person we choose by dating and understanding.Age is not at all a criteria.

Hi coolchai, I don't think that age matters at all unless one really goes to the extreme, certainly five years would not matter. I know quite a few couples with an age difference of more than ten years who are very happily married. While traditionally the man is older than the woman, the trend appears to be changing in recent years. Blessings.

I don't think it does. People have their own reasons for being in a relationship. As long as they people involved make each other happy, I have no problem with an age difference...
