Do your child obsessed with shooting game only?

My son who is 6+ years of age, is obsessed with playing with toy guns and some dummy of it. He immitates the characters of animation films like Ben 10 etc.Physical sports like football. racing, cricket etc. are not liked by him. Neither he shows any liking for brain games like chess, chinese checker.Though I don't force him to play the sports and give up the shooting games, i would like him to divert his interest and likings.
Do/did your child/children exibit the same interests? What do/did you do then?
