This book was written by Solomon. I still don't know the context or the situation of solomon when he wrote the book so I don't know the reasons for some passage he write. How about you? what do you think of this book? I you haven't read it, don't post any response. Be serious, I need your answers. Thanks!

Hi there....Ecclesisates is one of my favorite books in the bible. I have read it numerous times. I like it because what Solomon wrote has lots of truths in it especially regarding our lives. I just ponder certain versus which I higlight in this book again and again and again. Highligted them, underline then written some thoughts next to it again and again. Ecc and proverbs are my two faourites in the bible.

Verse that is highlighted many many times is Chapter 12:12 - 14. I think he said good and bad have the same destination is he meant both eventually has to die. Destination not meaning heaven or hell but die. Both good and bad at the end also have to die and stand before God for judgement.

I like ecclesiastes although I never new it was written by Solomon. I especially like the line, "to everything there is a season, a time and a purpose under heaven". Cheers!!

I also like that passage. Look at ecclesiastes 1:18. It is very interesting.. I found it contrary to proverbs but the bible will never condratict itself so maybe there's an explanation for this that I need to seek.
