Were you ever terrified when you had your first ever job?

im sorry for your bad experienced at your first work.. :C i was not terrifed but excited in my first day at work as an analyst. it is far different from the course i took on college. my life at the office is much same as what in school, the only difference is that i get paid. :D i like the office environment, were like schoolmates there that time. :D :D

"first day high" is normal, for most people. it is the fact that you are entering unfamiliar territories, and that you couldn't keep yourself from thinking what lies ahead. you'll get over it soon, when you start your job. i had the misfortune of having worn flat shoes on the first day of my first job--teaching. high school. for some reason, the principal assigned me to a 3rd year class and when i got there the students thought i was a transfer student and talked to me just as they would talk to a normal transfer student. when i got to the front and the teacher's table, the guys who tried flirting with me had their heads tucked. heheh

I'm still in my first job - nearing my "anniversary" :) I wasn't scared to take my first job because I did as much research as I could and found out that it's exactly what I wanted :D I'm into programming and I wanted a place where I could train myself well. well yeah i was anxious especially on the interviews i had to go through. but after doing interviews for how many times now it doesn't feel as anxious as it did before. but i still get a little nervous and awkward until now. anyway just keep it cool and things will turn out fine.
