friend or foe

hello my lotter's,
need advice i have had freinds before i got married and now it seems as though they have all disapeared.
mainly because all the friends i have picked became cousin in laws,they are all related to my husband.
i have only one friend that is not ,whom i rarely talk to me anymore she is more into the bar scene and try's at least to be my friend still and do stuff i like and enjoy.
all the ones that i am related to stoped talking to me when we got married 6 yrs ago.
my question is were they really my friend's? should i pursue the friendship with them?
any advice my lotter's will help thank's

when you say they "stopped talking" to you, does it mean they avoid you or you just lost touch with them? well for me, if i value these friends, i am the one who call them and suggest we meet up for lunch or dinner. thankfully, they still are the same friends i have, we just rarely talk but when we do get the time to be together, nothing really changed, only time passed by and now we have a lot of things to talk about, years to reminisce on the happenings in our lives =)
