Millions of people each day consume things they know is unhealthy for them.
Why is this?
The taste or addiction?
What foods do you consume you know is bad for you?

For me it is mainly a comfort thing. Certain foods make me feel happier. I am a big sweet-a-holic, so I go for things like Chocoate, cheesecake, and cookies.

Because, usually, those type of foods are delicious and so much more tastefull than the "good" foods.
I'm totally addicted to coke, I drink almost 1 liter per day. But, I'm trying to stop. I'm buying more juice, but it's not working very well.

I think it's because the bad foods make us feel good, and when we're depressed can temporarily help us feel a bit better. My favourite junk-foods are chocolate and pastry.

humans probably resort to taking anything that's bad for them because the best things in life are bad? lol
your question gave life to another question: why do humans get married when they would choose divorce (when they don't like what they'd find out) in the end?
because the best things in life are not always good.
