My favorite author is Dean Koontz. I love his writing style, and I am often spellbound when I read his books. What authors captivate you?

Dean Koontz is great! Although his books are a little TOO scary for me sometimes. I've read "Velocity", "Door to December", "Winter Moon", and a few others that I forget the names of. It's interesting how he incorporates both mystery and the supernatural world into his stories; he's a good and original writer, which is hard to find these days. I don't really have a favorite author. But I do like Dean Koontz. . I'm glad someone else here on myLot appreciates his work.

I love so many different authors that is has become too hard for me to pick out a favorite. But I have more than one book from Ted Dekker, Sherrilyn Kenyon, James Patterson, Frank Peretti, Jane Austin and so many more. I love to read.

Dean Koontz is also my favorite author. I agree with what you said about his writing and books. I like the unique ideas he comes up with. He has a lot of originality in the subjects and situations he puts the characters in. I also enjoy Catherine Coulter...but I only like her "FBI Series" writing...I have heard and seen some of her books that are historical romance and that isn't my kind of novel, so I haven't read that stuff of hers.
