I'm looking to buy my boyfriend some nice cologne for his birthday, but I'm dumb as dirt when it comes to choosing the kind! I want something..not overpowering, but light, and nice smelling.
What are your favorite kinds? And where did you buy them, and for how much?
Thanks in advance!

Hi maezee.
I recently bought Dolce Light Blue for my husband. It's got a nice lasting scent, not too strong. The other one I would recommend is Carolina Herrera Aqua. You might want to check them out. Both are less than $100.
Hope I was able to help. Have a great day!

You might want to consider Polo Blue and Lacoste Pour Homme.

Nowadays, the number of people using perfume amounts to a large quantity. What is the most important is more and more people became more beautiful.
But I don't use it ,May be the natural flavor of person is important! Of course the cologne is very good too. it can make girls overpowering!
GOOD LUCK TO YOU !

Hugo Boss, or the knock off Nitro, has aways been one of my favorites. It is just a nice, clean scent - it isn't too pine-y or perfumey. I also really loved the original Tommy cologne. I think Hugo and Tommy both run for around $60 or so for a large bottle but the knock off brands are way cheaper.

My favorite scent for a guy would have to be Quorum cologne. This is one of the things that attracted me to my husband (besides his good looks, of course ) when we first met. Even though I don't care much for cologne it has a nice light "woodsy" scent that isn't overbearing so long as he only uses it sparingly. But then again, my nose is pretty sensitive so anymore than this is powerful to me.
My husband hasn't bought any in years, but here is a link to information about this cologne: http://www.fragrancex.com/xmquoras.html
If you scroll down on the page you will be able to read some customer reviews as well.
I hope this helps!

I actually HATE Axe with a burning passion. Every guy in my old high school drenched themselves with Axe thinking it was what all the girls liked - but it totally turned me off of the brand and how any of the scents smell. Yuck. I might consider Old Spice though. Thanks for responding!

I have always loved the smell of Old Spice ! and it's because my Dad always smelled like Old Spice. The smell always reminds me of him , and makes me feel as if he is close by .

Chrome! Seriously, this stuff is the best. The nice thing about it is that you can buy it almost anywhere. You can pay an arm and a leg for it at a place like Macys or you can get it at Target. Keep an eye out because sometimes you can find a good deal at Macys if you get it as a gift set. Go out and smell it, you won't be sorry!!
Some of my other favorites are American Eagle and the blue Bigelow stuff at Bath and Body works. I buy all of my fiancee's colognes and we both end up LOVING the scents.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've never heard of it. The only thing I don't like about shopping for cologne at Target is that they usually don't have testers, so you can't really smell them before you buy them (or at least that's how it is at the Targets in my area), but I'll check it out at Macy's when I can.
I'm at AE probably once a week, and it's amazing that I never even thought to look at their men's cologne. Thanks for the idea!

I used to wear Antidote by Viktor&Rolf
I think this cologne is the bestest cologne ever.
Very unique scent. But the price a bit expensive,
