Prisons in America seem to have turned into retreats... They have tvs in their room, pretty much anything you could want, they dont work (for the most part), they get to spend most their time getting in shape and healthy. They have more freedoms than most of us do. I dont see why they should get all of the luxuries they get while we are out here working to pay for them...what do you think?

They need to take a lesson from that Arizona sherrif who puts all his inmates in bright pink clothes and makes them live off baloney and water and sleep in tents. They do have television, but it's only tuned to the Weather Channel or CNN I think. I thought it was funny that inmates were saying it was inhumane. The sheriff shot back that our troops in Iraq are living in far worse conditions and they don't complain.
If you do the crime, you do the time, but not in a spa like atmosphere of a jail that has more luxuries than most citizens in this country.

sorry I had to add this....Inhumane????
omg! ok now not talking about victimless crimes so much, but
more about crimes with victims....Was the way they treated their victims, that made them end up in prison humane? Doubt it!!! Therefore who cares, SHOULD they be treated humanely? Not in my opinion!
