posting same discussion can lessen our earnings/ points???

hi mylotters, i have been reading topics or discussions here in mylot that i find similar to the previous topics here..i was just wondering posting similar discussions can affect our earnings or points? and is there any other way to find out if the topics has already been discussed earlier? in fact i don't know if this questions has been asked before hehehe!!!

Yes you can lose points I did already posting the same thing, it wasn't word for word but I it did get deleted, I made a mistakeso I post in over in different wording. the one where I made a mistake got deleted, I am glad it did bt I also lost some poits from it.

thanks for the response marciascott, but anyway how can we avoid posting similar topics? are there any way to find out if one topics has already been discussed? i can still see many similar topics here in mylot..

I am not sure if their is a difference in pay if the discussion has been a topic before. I am thinking what counts is the amount of responses you get ot it.
