If you could start any online venture or job online what would you do if someone gave you $5,000.00 to help you start it?
What kind of online business would you start? Or would you build or create things? Like make dolls, or websites or inventions or write books?
What would you do with the $5,000.00 investment? Would you use it to start an online job or would you spend it?

I would start my firm which would deal with mobile software solutions.Though 5000 dollars isnt much,it can be something to start with and hopefully can be useful to start with.I have to say I dont like to invest in any online program as such. The only investment possibly I can do here is buy a domain name, create a website and maintain it.

What kind of website would you build? I was thinking of building a membership site, dating site or a social networking site. I'm thinking these could make some good money. What do you think?

I would invest a major portion. Reat I may buy gold and a few hundred I may give to poor. I will not invest a penny for onliine jobs as those sites that charge money are scams.

I would not invest money in those websites eathier. What I meant, was would you invest money into an online job you could do? Such as selling ooak clay babies on ebay, building your own membership site that you own and make money from and other sites that include:dating site and social networking site's. I also heard travel agent websites are very profitable too. So this is what I meant. Sorry for any confusion.

I'd use part of it to start a business, selling books and movies (of course, I get first dibs!). The rest, I think I'd take a vacation somewhere close.

To try and start a business from scratch with $5,000 wouldn't be that easy to do. It's really not much money.
Umm if I had to start an online business I'd definitely do something to do with videogames. Maybe create a site that is a database for hundreds of games save files. Firstly, I own a ton of games, and have completed most of them, so gaining access to save files where everything is complete in a game or whatever wouldn't be a problem. And putting up the save files doesn't cost me a cent.
It'd be illegal to charge people to download individual files, as the data would be technically owned by whoever created each specific game. However, I could charge a membership fee.
Start out small - Maybe charge $5 for a years membership in which members could download an unlimited number of files.
Offer a deal where I can give members special incentives for uploading a save of their own (give them a month's free access). This'd build the database quickly, and the more files I had available, the more members I'd potentially get.
The $500 would be spent soley on web hosting and what minimal adveritising I could afford. (Banners on some game forums etc).
I have no idea of if it'd be a viable business plan in the long run, but if I had $5,000 and was told that I HAD to invest it into some kind of online business, then that's what I'd do.
