Does having a positive attitude really bring more positivity into your life?

I know some people are like think positive and good things will happen, think negative and negative things will happen. Do you believe this and mostly have you seen it in action? I do sometimes and sometimes i dont. Sometimes i just believe the chips will fall where they may and what is supposed to be will be. I come from the south and my grandparents were really religious and she used to always get on me about "speaking things into existence". Meaning you can say negative things and it could possibly happen. What do you think?

I absolutely agree with your grandparents!
I also agree with you though that things fall into place. So put the two together and.... what is the point in being negative when everything eventually will work out right?
I am not a worrier at all. It is a waste of our precious time being negative because it changes nothing, except our wrinkles which become more and grow downwards. If we pass the day thinking positive and pushing negative thoughts into the back of our minds we will be happier, others will see us happier and everything takes on a different air. Once we are old we will have wrinkles which grow upwards too and maybe less white hairs

I try, I really do try not to worry but sometimes it is so hard. Especially when you try to think positive and not worry then the worse happens. It just seems i go through something everyday and nothing works out, just drama. I am to the point of not caring about much of anything anymore and saying to heck with it and whatever happens happens because it is going to do it anyway.

I think we all go through those times then something happens when least we expcet it and everything gets on the right track again.
It will happen for you soon too!
