I watched Watchmen

and it wasn't what i thought it would be. It really isn't a kid movie and it was way more gruesome than i thought it would be. I wont be seeing it again. There really wasn't a ton of action and the movie was long and slow. It was rather dissapointing. The movie also jumped all over the place and wasn't smooth with its transitions. I just didn't get it may be its just me. Has anyone else watched the movie? If so what did you think of it?

The last movie I saw in the movie theator was the watchmen last saturday night. And I loved it even though there were parts of the movie I didnt care for I still loved it and I would reccomend it to any fans of superhero movies. Even though the movie got mixed reviews a lot of people either loved it or didnt care for it but I thought it was brilliant.

I am a fan of super hero movies, but not this one. I would not recommend this movie to anyone unless they need a reason to be put to sleep. I heard all good reviews from people on the news the other day about this movie and figured it was good. I'm glad I got it on bootleg instead of wasting my time and money at the movies. This movie was crap! I don't see how anyone in their right mind can sit through a long a$$ piece of sh!t movie like this and actually enjoy it.

FYI: did you know the movie was rated R? Also, have you read the book? If not, then you may be very lost. It is a very intense movie, and unless you have some understanding of the book, or can follow a very complex story, than you can get lost. I read the book, and I'm mostly happy. Followed it fairly close, and I loved the fight scenes. However, this is more of a "thinking movie," or as much as a comic movie can be.

First of all are you implying that i can't follow a complex story? This was not complex what so ever. I wasn't disspointed in the story line i was dissapointed in the directing. The movie bounced all over the place but may be its just me. The commercials for this movie didn't imply the brutatly of the movie or how gruesome that it would be. I'm not the only one that feels this way. And yes i knew the movie was rated R how ever there are many movies that are rated R that don't go as far as watchmen did
