well, i was once asked upfront what my age was right after what was my height and weight by an acquaintance.
Not that i have issues with the age and height. but WEIGHT!! and in the same breath as the other 2. It just got to me.
But if i were to be asked what's my age. And that's IT! I would willingly tell. Nothing to be ashamed of. I guess i just haven't reached that age where "age matters".

I think that young girls say they are older than they really are so that they can date older guys. When they get older they say they are younger in order to preserve the youth mystique. Cheers!!

Hi there! I am a girl and I am 25...and yes, many girls won't talk about their age because they are afraid of being embarrassed, though in reality, they will never be. There are some girls who are twice my age when asked about their age they would reply as they stop counting at 30. I guess it wasn't really about the age but have something to do with their face value. They don't want their faces be associated with their old age...well that's the best reason I could think of.

I'm a boy so I'm not sure why they wouldn't want to say their name. Most of the friends I have don't try to hide their ages. Maybe some think they're either too young or too old and don't want anyone to find out? have a nice day.

Hi santhosheie....see, I'm a girl and I'm 24. I AM telling you my age.
maybe they are scared that they'll be mistaken to be older than their age. Some girls are so vain that the very first wrinkle that appears at the corner of the eyes worries them so much.
