Surely it had affected every household, no matter where you live. How do you overcome this money matter in your daily life? Especially for those who are recently unemployed. As for me, l had start to budget all my expenses. l make sure that l don't overspend every month..

I have not been affected too badly by the current economic situation. I have cut back some on my spedning with prices going up on so many items. I have also tried making things I have last longer then just going out and getting so many new things when I need them. I have also tried putting more money away in savings in case I do lose my job I will be able to get by for sometime.

These are the things I am doing to survive this economy:
*I've cut down on my quarterly holidays - no flight tickets, no hotels, no travel = money saved
*I've cut down on pubbing and restaurant binging every week. It's now once a fortnight. I've saved quite some money this way.
*Whenever I am unable to cook, I do a takeaway instead of eating out.
*I'm watching energy consumption and using it very very frugally. I'm sure this time, the quarterly bill will be lower than it was last winter.
Hope that helps others looking for tips! :)

It has been extremely difficult. I work hard at my job so that if they have to lay anyone off, it won't be me. I've gotten extra certifications to make myself more valuable to the company. I have also started donating plasma, because they pay you for it. I haven't been able to go these last two weeks though, because I've been sick. That's $120 I haven't gotten. As soon as I graduate from school I will be taking on a second job. Even if it is in fast food or something, it's extra money!

I tried to keep it down on my daily expense. I tried to make as much money as I can. I am trying to avoid to going out as often as before. I tried to find every way to make money. Either online, or get myself a part - time job. That is best choice I have so far.

I also happened to lost my job due to the recent economic trends. I entirely stopped my unwanted expenses after that and still facing lot of difficulties to run the life.I am now searching for good online earning site to meet my expenses temporarily and I found very hard to get.I am online most of the time and get trapped by the scam sites only.Hereafter we have to stop this also, I think so,to reduce the electricity consumption at least. On line earning sites are like that only.

Sorry to hear about that. It takes time to find a good online earning sites, but lm not sure, whether is there really any good site around. Earning small money is legit, but that can't help much. If you interested, you can accept me as your friend and PM me. I will send a few links to you.

I am from India and here the gravity of problem is not as deep as in the western countries. In spite of this, I lost the job recently and it is becoming quite tough to get a new one. Any way keeping the spirits high and being optimistic will make me to face this tough situations.

It is a blessing in disguise as we learn to be thrifty and feel the pain of the poor. I have slash my spending greatly and only concentrate on food items. It is wise to be economical as we do not know when the economy improve.
