Do "lucky Numbers" Really Bring Good luck?

Some people take it for granted that some lucky numbers can bring good luck .Take the widely used number"8" for example ,it is considered a lucky number in that it is sounded like "geting rich " in Chinese and is believed to bringgood fortune .
Yet many other think otherwise .They think that numbers have nothing to do with luck .they regard numbers simply as a mathematic symbols for counting. They are anything but a mystery .They laugh at those who think certain numbers can bring good luck .
I am in favor of the latter viewpoint .I think our society very modern now ,it seems ridiculous to count on the so_called lucky numbers to fulfill our wishes .Wheher we can have goodluck depends on ourselves .If we work hard ,good luck is sure to come.

I don't know what else you'd call it but luck when happenstance gets you something you get without any effort - like winning the lottery. I don't, however, believe in "lucky" numbers. I don't believe anyone can give you a magic formula that will guarantee you'll win. I think in areas where effort is required, it's what you do or don't do that makes the difference, not luck.

my personal opnion is that the universe is at a constant dialogue with the soul
numbers seem to correlate with my life, but that's because I wanted them too (I love 8) lol
now it shows up more, but it's because of my influence
even numbers usually show up in my life when things are going smoothly 2, 4 ,8
if someone likes numbers to communicate with "luck" (which I believe is just how intune you are with the universe and self)
luck is a result of smoothness in life or the cause or both
If math is real though, and real things can be described with numbers (math) it's not that far fetched that there could be some relation with numbers and luck (because luck is something else too)
that's just what I think though I don't feel like numbers make you win lotto or anything more like they are an indicator..

Nah, no one or nothing can bring any luck. Luck can be considered luck if it is already there.
If you say that you are lucky, it maybe because you had lots of good luck before, and not because you can drive in good luck.
If only numbers can change the way a man can live, no one should be suffering from poverty now.
