Personally, I dislike my bosses from my previous job, not because they are unfair, but more of whether they are even qualified to be at that position. I mean they need to convince me that they know more than I do to coach me, or to correct me. This is my personal opinion.
However, I like my current boss in my new job! I dare say that because he or she manage to win me over through their knowledge, and most importantly, willingness to listen to their subordinates rather than brush us away. Respect I feel.

I don't think this issue is related to like or not. For me, work is work. I'd not bring works to my affection, and try my best not to bring it to my mood. If someone gives you some instructions in your work, you should be thankful of him/her. But I don't think you should like him/her.

One of the most popular reason's why employees quit and look for a different job is because they hate their bosses. And these workers will try to find a job with a bosses much better than his/her previous one, although I have to say it's a hit and miss sort of thing. My previous employers are just lame, and are really just thinking of themselves to always look GREAT in the eyes of their higher ups. So yeah, I absolutely hated them...My current boss though, is a different thing, he is not perfect but treats and appreciates each and everyone of his sub ordinates. I'm trying to learn from him, and hopefully one day implement a similar approach if I do become a boss my self one day.

Out of the many jobs i have worked in, i have only liked a few bosses of mine.. I dun say i hate the other bosses, but rather, they are acting too arrogant, nad have no regards to employees at all ^_^
For those bosses i like and enjoy working with, they are more like a fren to me, and they often see things from the point view as an employee.. Furthermore, they defend their staffs no matter right or wrong.. ON top of that, they trust us to do the right things and work is about having fun too, as long as we know when to be serious.. haha =D
That's the kind of boss i like ^_^

I like my managers for the most part. I'm sure that not everyone loves their manages 100% of the time. I get along with them usually. It just there are some time when I can't wait for them to leave so I don't have to deal with them for the rest of my shift.

I do like my bosses, ALOT. I mean it can have something to do with them being close to my age but its like they seem to understand where you are coming from. Im a student so they always work around my schedule. Now my General Manger is just the sweeetest women that anyone can ever meet. Matter of fact I call her mama T most of the time, Ha. Not many people enjoy their jobs or bosses but yes, Im glad to say that I do.
