Kids writing- Do you have trouble with how your boys write?

UGH! My 7 year old sons teacher is on my constantly about his writing. I remember last year my 8 year old had this same teacher....and even then she was on me about him and his handwriting. Well when I have them write at home I can watch what they do and check over it and they know that so they tend to write a little better. And its not that they cant write better its just when they dont have alot of time to actually write. And they try to cram so much into a day at school that its no wonder they are trying to write fast. So with that they are learning to write fast but not well, yet I am told about it at least once a week. Shouldnt the teachers allow them to maybe slow down a day or so at school and maybe work on handwriting?
Originally this was supposed to be about girls vs boys handwriting but looks like it took a change in direction! lol.

First of all he is only 7. My boys are 14 and 16 and still have bad writing. Why are the schools pushing our kids so hard at such a young age? They have 12 years of school ahead of them. I was more concerned with things like can my kids read?Can they do math? Yes I agree they should slow down a bit.When my younger son got the same teacher as his older brother I noticed some problems with the teachers. They try to treat them the same as their sibling. So I went to the school and requested they change his teacher. They did and it helped alot. I quit getting complaint about their writing when I asked if they were doing their work and the teachers said yes and they were getting good grades. so I asked if they would rather have good writing and half of their work because they have to slow down to write good or all of their work and good grades. You have to pick your battles when it comes to kids. I picked the good grades and finnished work over good handwriting. And yes they do have much to do in school and then they wonder why we have so many attention deficate kids these days.As far as boys verses girls I think as a general rule girls write better than boys. My daughter wrote better than her younger brothers.
