do blogs really catch the eye of majority of people unlike books?

i hav this thing of wanting to write stories since childhood.but never found enough courage rather than time to do it.blog is an interesting concept of latest days.but tell me friends if i really write any stories, experiences or want to share articles which i liked, does anyone read it? or willit b like writing it on my bedroom wall. lolz atleast then i wl b reading it daily. Also how to create a blog so that it is viewed by many?

i think you have good resource for blog . you should know one thing before build a blog. what's you purpose . Earn money ? find more friend ? or others .if you want to earn money .i don't suggest you to build a story blog because it's your things ,can't collect visitator .if you want to enjoy the progress in writing article ,you should bulid it.
