What do you do when you're in a bad mood?

From time to time everyone gets in bad moods for one reason or another.
Today I'm in a really majorly awful mood and I just seem to be angry at everything and everyone.
So I think the best course of action is for me to avoid contact with as many people as I possibly can.
I'll go out, do what I need to do, then shut myself in my room and work.
Then as some stress relief I might play some videogame where I can shoot something and get peed off and not really hurt anyones feelings.
What do you do when you're in a bad mood? How do you process your emotions. Do you spare people your mood, or are you the kind of person who just treats everyone badly for a while?

Hi, Downunder_dude! When I am in a bad mood, I will talk about my situation until I start to feel better. I will listen to loud music. I will also be alone and relax when no one is talking to me. I will go to the park and walk aroud just to hear the quietness of the air and breeze. The park relaxes me and my bad mood. I am so sorry that you are in a bad mood. I hope that you will be okay. Try watching a really funny movie, and see how that may help.. Take care..
I also find that spending time with God, will help too. Tell him all of your troubles, he is available, 24/7. He never has a day off!

Speaking of loud music, sometimes i am in a bad mood, i turned the volume louder and sing a long. Singer those rock fast song really helps too. But make sure you don't disturb your neighbor.
Normally, when I am in the bad mood, I would just encourage myself. To me, i really talk to myself verbally (not just in my mind). It feels like you released the uneasiness and you make yourself feel better.
Some other things I do is talk to my friends, I like golf (so i goto the driving range).

I post to vent. I also tend to call people or facebook. I'm becoming addicted to facebook chats when I'm in a bad mood. Sometimes I'll watch a silly television show or read a fun book. Journaling helps.

Sometimes for now apparent reason, I will be in a bad mood too. Other times, there's something that triggers it. Both ways, I avoid talking to other people until I let all my steam out. If I can, I usually treat myself to a bubblebath ( the scent of caramel popcorn bubble soup somewhat calms me). I also light some candles and play some instrumental music (Japanese Melodies-Flute & Harp). WHen I come out of the bathroom, I'll have a warm jasmine tea. That improves my mood somehow. If it still doesnt work....I usually bring myself to sleep. 80% of the time all that worked, 20% of the time, I just have to confront the source of my bad mood and straighten it out...

i would prefer to be by myself. becoz i would not like to throw my anger on somebody's else. that is the best think to do. well if you cannot isolate yourself, you have to then control your anger. try not to hurt anybody in the fury of your anger.

When I get in a bad mood, I just feel the need to spend a great amount of time on my own. I just go out for a walk in the park to clear my head, sit on a bench and watch people. I don't think it's fair for the others to get affected by someone else's bad mood. I know how hard it is to cope with the frustration, because I have to live with a depressed person daily. And the worst thing is that she doesn't do anything to get over it...

hello..i remember i would try to borken everything i meet when i was in bad moond at my younger days. but now i can control my own temper and cool down soon. it's only occasionally and we should keep good mood all the times. that would do good to our health. others are not supposed to bare our bad mood also. so don't put this to others . it would not be welcome.

just stay away from people who are having a bad mood too. If you think their aura is not shining so light, like they dont feel the best of the day, just take a distance for a while, go back and talk to them when they are already ok. The purpose of this is the bad energy wont be pass unto you. Bad energy must be eliminated, or stay away from it. If you feel you have it, just start relaxing your fingers, shake both hands, move your head from right to left, front and back, then take a deep breath (do it 3). After that, try to concentrate on how you can do your work easily, have self time, after an hour or few minutes you can go out and talk. We do feel this. Everyday is not really a happy day for all of us, but we need to remember that havign bad mood destroy good feelings. And it will ruin your day, sometimes it takes more than a day. I hope this advice helps.

When i do feel bad and moody, i wanted to eat more. Everything sweet or salty or something which is cold, i would eat it. When i am in a bad mood, my eating mood is also weird, i like to combine foods un imaginable.
I like to dip french fries on vanilla and chocolate marble ice cream. I do eat chocolate bars and then drink fruit juice. But not only i focus on eating, i like to go shopping. And i will be sooo feeling good after buying the stuffs i wanted to buy.
But the most bad thing i would do when i am in a bad mood is cutting my hair. I will go to a saloon or beauty parlor and go for a hair cut. During College days if i have my bad mood mode, i will cut off my eyelashes don't worry, it grows back and it looks thicker than the usual.

When I am in bad mood, I just do something or other and try to keep myself busy.
When you are in bad mood you may hurt someone or insult someone.
I may meet my friends because it makes me feel cool when I am with them.
Even sometimes I watch some movie to keep myself busy.
Otherwise you can even share the reason of your bad mood with some of your good friends because it also makes you relieved.

Frankly I have no special way to get rid of the bad mood. I just think I need to release my angry or bad feeling. Sometimes I listen to loud music. Sometimes I just sit down before a computer to read something. Even I'll go shopping and talk with the salesperson. I tried my best not to disturb others.

I would stay in my room and listen to music or play my PSP, preferably RPG games because they required solving puzzles and allow me to forget about my anger. I'd avoid contact with other people because I am not sure how to handle them when I'm in a bad mood. I could have hurt them unintentionally and I'll regret my actions. So the best thing is to get away from the crowd and enjoy some quiet moments to reconcile my feelings.

When Im in a bad mood,I wouldnt like to do anything.I dont like to contact others.I may go shopping alone or just watch TV at home.Watching TV is also the first choice when Im very tired after getting back home from work.

in my opinion, mood changes always in you life.maybe bad mood would appear sometimes,once a week or once a month .when i was in bad mood ,i always did something which can change my mood happy or relax my body,such as listen some happy music in my personal space and eat sock can change bad mood,yes! i suggest you to eat sock when you are in bad mood.

I would take a bath when I am in a bad mood.
If someone want to ask what's happening to me, I would tell them stop ask me anything and let me calm down for few minutes. I will tell them it when I am ready.
Or if I was in a bad mood when I am out, I would go shopping. Buy something that I really like. Have a hot tea~ Have a taste of sweet cake. It can help a lot. I will think the world is still wonderful and almost forget I am moody.
