who do you pity most of the time? tom? or jerry?

i always enjoy watching tom and jerry for a long time now. last night while i'm watching, one question came into my mind...
would i pity jerry whenever tom tries to catch him or would it be tom because basicallly jerry, [even though his so small] who is a bully most of the time.
most of the episodes shows how they brutally love each other... hehehe...
sometimes i would pity on tom because jerry always finds someone who can help him out whnever tom tries to catch him... i think that in reality catching a mouse is always a cats job... well i thinks its because jerry is so adorable that it depicts the fact that he is a mouse who tries to steal food from our homes...
what do you think about this?

Of course, Tom! Jerry is so foxy. It always makes fun of Tom. Though Tom is stronger than Jerry, when he fights with Jerry, he can't win. It's so poor. And Jerry has some friends, but it seems that Tom has none. He is alone.

My favorite is cute jerry..who makes all naughtiness and tom equally a symphathetic hero!

I love Tom and Jerry! It’s such a funny cartoon character and the story lines are quite funny and so childish! I pity more on Tom because he always tries his best to get Jerry however as he keeps on trying, Jerry always has a backup plan that can out win Tom’s bad ideas for him.

I don´t pity them but I recognise Tom has not the brains Jerry has. Tom is all muscle but is not as witty as Jerry is so is often fooled.
When I see Tom and Jerry I never imagine a mouse in my house (nor a cat either). The two cartoons are very much humanlike. A real mouse, I would try to kill. A real cat I wouldn´t have (I´m a dog lover). But this cat is much more interesting for me that the dog cartoons one sees. I think it has to be with how similar to people they are.
