What would you do if there was a Zombie Outbreak?

I've been sorting through my dvd collection, and selling off stuff that I don't want. I have all my movies categorised by genre - so there's a comedy section and a drama and an action/adventure section. I also have a horror section. I got sick of horror as a genre a few years ago and since then, this section of my dvd collection has shrunk a lot. However I have kept my zombie films - My Dawn of the Dead's and Undead's. There's just something about zombie movies that I quite enjoy. So I got to randomly thinking about what I'd do if there was a zombie outbreak. I reckon I'd go to my brother's gun locker, break out some guns and get ready to fight and try and stay alive. I wouldn't run and hide. I wouldn't cower with fear. I'd like to think that I'd stand my ground and try and survive as long as I could. So... what would you do if a virus was suddenly unleashed upon the world that was creating zombies? Would you try and run, or would you stand anf fight? Or would you do something else entirely?

I have thought abought this before. and have a great plan. I live in BFE so it wouldnt get to me right away. I will know something is up at least a day or two before it gets out to were I live. So i would batten down. Buy some fence and put it up hopefully my neighbors would join me and live in a compound type thing till every thing blows over or we are over run lol. I already have a garden every year and can all that i grow from it. There would be a few things i would have to figure out like how to do without electric, cause my water pump needs it. I would try to take in as many people as I safely could. That way there could be watches all day around. Also the more people there are the more we could plant and grow. Also who wants to be stuck with no one but there emediate faily for who knows how long! No one else to talk to would make you crazy.

I think I would first and foremost try to look for a cure for the virus. I don't think running away would solve anything and zombies, based on hollywood movies, have animal instincts. Which means that no matter how much you run, they'd get to you. Standing to fight though seems unreasonable to especially if I'm fairly certain that I have no chance against those brutal creatures. Finding a cure for it, however, sounds like a reasonable way to cure ourselves of the problem - a lot like I am Legend (starring Will Smith). Thanks for the response on my discussion!
