What was it about? Did you follow that advise?
If soon you are going to be a mother, or if you are a mother now, what advise would you give your son/daughter?

it has to be. you treat all females like you would want your dad to treat to me, or other guys how your sister and female cousins should be treated. you came from a female so you respect all females good. or i will take you out of this world.

Hahahaha.. Great!
Your mom is a toughie! Hehehe.. I wish all guys mom could have a talk to their sons like that and gain respect and authority by doing so.
It's a great advice, similar to the golden rule: don't do unto others what you don't want others to do unto you.

I tell my sons to grab every opportunity that comes their way and to live their own life for themselves and not out of obligation to others. (whilst still retaining respect for others to do the same)
My mum always says you shouldn't worry about things that MIGHT happen &, once they've happened, its too late to worry!

Your mom has very good points there... It's said that worrying is like sitting on a rocking chair, it makes you do something but gets you nowhere!

Year, I have an agreement over your viewpoint !There is no point concerning about the things have not occured ,and anytime you should remind yourself of is that yesterdy is history ,tomorrow is mystery ,only today is like a gift ,that is why it is called present !So treasure the moment that we have now !
I am glad to know you ! Good luck !

Mom always told me to be sure that I could take care of myself and ay children I had in ife because no matter how wnderful a marriage or relationship may seem, it can all be over in the blink of an eye. As long as I know how to take care of myself and my kids, such a drastic event would not be as detrimental to my life.
Yes, Mom was right, and I do listen to her.
I tell my kids the same thing so hopefully, when they grow up, they too will be able to always care for themselves and not have to rely on someone else.

That was really a good point your mother has there. It's sad to know that relationships (romantic ones) don't really last and could disappear in at a blink, and regardless how much we love the other person, we're truly not sure when they'll change.
It's good not to rely on someone alone.
Taking care of yourself and your children is truly a valuable asset to keep.
Thanks for dropping by!

My mother is a normal woman ,and she is really the incarnation of beauty and kindness in my eyes !During my growing-up ,my mother convey me a belief that there is no need to be the great, but a man of morality !
In my opinion ,morality is one of the best inherent human natures,it is deeply rooted in my heart that the power of the goodness and morality can make the world a better place , a person who is destitute of one of them is not a real person !So I would rather be without money and power tha without morality ,I thinks my mother's advise have exerted a far-reaching influence in my life ! Thank you mum ,I will remember it for a life time!
