I was looking through some photos on my computer and I came across a picture of my dad with his dog sitting in his lap wearing a christmas sweater. Not just on his lap, but sitting up like a child! Is that rotten or what? Do you have a spoiled rotten dog or other pet?

My response to all that keep telling me that my pup is spoiled is that she isn't spoiled, she's just special. Which is the truth.
Deep down in my gut, I know I spoil my dog but she isn't a "spoiled" dog persay.
Of course we love our pets dearly, right?
I am not sure that the dog in the photo of your discussion is spoiled but absolutely cute.
My dog has been through so much in her short two years on this planet that I feel she deserves to be treated like a princess, the little angel she is.
She has a better wardrobe than me, she eats better than me and she gets to sleep longer than me.
She is treated like royalty but that is because she is so well behaved, provides so much joy and happiness, brings smiles to every face that meets her, gives unconditional love and is a loyal friend. Plus, she is absolutely beautiful and knows it too.
Her photo below doesn't do much justice but is what I have available at this time. I do not have a picture of her being spoiled but that is because I am too busy spoiling her, so is difficult to snap a photo too.
Since I dote on her and protect her from bigger animals and peoples feet, cars and other possible causes of potential mishaps, constantly making sure she is comfortable, I am told that I spoil her.
When we are out and it starts to get late, I take her blanket with her so that when we depart to come home, she can be wrapped in her blanket, warmed from indoors so when we get in the cold car she is still warm.
I cook for her three times a day and has a varied diet of chicken or fish and vegetables with brown or white rice.
She is brushed out twice or more a day.
She gets her belly rubs when she wakes before she gets out of bed and at night while she falls asleep.
She loves to have her hair done and is usually done in a top knot or barrettes before she goes out for the day.
When we go for walks, I often let her decide which way we are going and take time to let her stop and sniff all the hot spots in her neighborhood.
My dog is having a canopy bed constructed that is on doweling so it swings as she loves to be rocked to sleep, just like a baby.
For her 2nd birthday this may we are sending out invitations to all the friends she has made this past year, since I have had her and will be having a party in her favorite doggie park with her friends. Balloons, bubbles, sticks and balls along with treats and a Lazy Dog Company cake, probably raspberry and peanut butter flavor.
Can you tell I have never had children? Lol
So perhaps I do have a spoiled dog but she deserves every minute of it. I wouldn't change it for the world.

Oh my goodness! How could this dog be anything but rotten? The poor thing never even had a chance, lol.

because my cat saved my life. I spoil her very much. She gets what ever she wants and now that she is living with my parents I make sure when I visit she gets extra spoiling.

Yes all of our dogs are spoiled rotten. We just bought a king sized bed so all three can fit in there with us. We get them their own beds too, so during the day they can nap in them. I get them big soup bones from the butcher, and lots of chew toys. They only get table scraps on special occasions, but they are certainly spoiled and they know it all to much.

That is where I draw the line, lol. I can not sleep with a pet in the bed. I don't even like sleeping with them in the room because they constantly do stuff that wake you up!

lol the picture is really cute and yes I have had many spoiled pets in my family. My cat is spoiled and my mom spoils her dog and then my grandma has her spoiled pup and same with my cousins dog. All of us live on the same property so not a single pet is left unspoiled.lol

When I go over to my dad's there is a lot of barking and competing for attention, lol and they are all rotten! The one in the photo usually gets a toy for me to throw for him.
