ive been playing runescape for a while now and i am currently in a race for 99 prayer with my cousin and we are both pretty far(im winning) and i was just wondering if any one had any good money making tips for me or anyone else looking at these posts(because i am sorta running out of ideas and woodcutting is getting kind of boring)
please answer i will enjoy trying out your methods

i think that you should use the great exchange. i've made 2 million with that. don't look for rare items, but for common ones. buy a great stock of a certain product and resell it. even if you gain only 1 for each product, if you sell 100.000 of that, you will earn the same amount of money.

i have many ways to make money. If you are a member you kill green dragons and pick up the loot and sell it to someone for money. Or you can buy toadflax at the grand exchange which is in Varrock then sell it for a much more expensive price.
For free players and you have at least level 65 woodcutting, cut yews that is next to the grand exchange then sell it. If you have a high fishing level fight a bunch of lobsters the sell it at the grand exchange.

its probably going to take you a while, but i do have some ideas to start you of on making some money.
i personally think the best way in f2p to make money without merching pking, is the rc guild minigame.
for every game you win you get 750 tokens, and each game last around 7 minutes. you would exchange the token for water talismans, which cost 45 tokens, and then you could sell for around 3-4k. it may take a while to get some tokens at first and to get 50 rc if you havnt already got it, but it can be very rewarding at the end.

well, you could try merchanting where you don't even need to log on to make money(most of the time). all you have to do is look at the grand exchange section under the game guide tab(i think, if not look under all tabs) and find rare items that are decreasing in price. the decrease probibally means that they're gonna go up in price soon. i usually buy items slightly lower than market price and sell back for market price in mass chunks(or if the difference between max and min price are huge only 2-3 of them).
