What type of back up do you use for your really important computer files?

Electronic receipts, office reports, really important emails and other important stuff can really be a pain when deleted or lost. What type of backup do you use.
Do you;
a) Use the larger USB sticks, and move the files manually
b) Did you buy one of those external hard drives and move the files yourself
c) Did you get one of those fancy NAS (Network Attached Storage).
d) Do you burn your files regularly onto DVD or CD
e) Do you use one of those online hard drives (like Xdrive before, or GDrive etc)

i don't have any important files on my computer. if it crashes you lose them. i'd rater just have them where i can get my hands on them. i'm old fashioned i guess but that's just the way i am.

It's good that you don't keep important files on your computer.I also keep a hard copy of important documents.

We previously used a USB stick to backup; but then it meant deleting some files when the stick runs out of space. Since most of the files are for safekeeping and filing, we now write them onto DVDs.

I use a combination of USB drive and Online.
MOst of my important file are on online storage.
I preferably use www.mesh.com as it syncs automatically as i update my folders on the computer. Any changes made to files will be updates automatically.
More importantly it allows me to share my folders and files with friends.

Best method of back up is take a back up to DVD and multiple side take a backup, so this type of backup i use my office.

Hi elmolovesu! I am not the one who does the back up on all important files. My husband does that for all our files! haha..lazy me! Oh not true! I am kinda dumb when it comes to this kind of things. haha..He do save them on DVDs, he uses online drives store them also on those USBs. I really am not sure where else. We do have hard copies too. He print them, document them and keep them in a a safe place.

i back up on cd, thumb drive, adrive, email, other websites, and will soon have everything backed up on dvd i hope.. im paranoid since i just got done with a really bad pc that liked to crash and screw up daily
