V.Sehwag scored 100 of just 60 balls to break the record of M.Azharuddin for the fastet 100 by an Indian in the 4th ODI against Newzealand. I hope he can beat the world record in this category in the years to come.
Your thoughts pls...
All the best for viru!

Yes! that was exciting stuff & i had the privilege of watching it live. Shewag was just hitting sixes at will, even the shots that were not timed well were reaching the boundary.
Personally i have seen better innings than this from shewag. In this innings he was trying to use brute force & most of his hits were on the onside. He is in his best while timing shots on the off side. The mediocre quality of New-Zealand bowling also took a little bit of sheen away form this century.
But whats important is that he has psychologically gained a upper hand for Indians in the test series by demoralizing the kiwi bowlers. I am sure India will dominate the test series too.
Between all the sixes & four one almost forgot that India has won the ODI series in KIWI land for the first time.

great work by viru! but breaking Afridis 37 ball 100 world record is going to be as tough as breaking Yuvraj's 12 ball 50... but if some one can do it, its viru or yuvraj in the current form.

Hello! I congratulate Sehwag and Dhoni for the victory. It is a great victory of India for Sehwag who scored 125.He completed his century off 60 balls was a milestone. No bowlers could resist him to score fours and sixes.By the by the morale of the Kiwis has been diminished in the mean time and that of the Indian team has reached at its zenith. So it sure that India would clinch the test series in its favor in New Zealnd itself. All the best for Team India.

On his day he plays like he is the best player in this world. This was probably on of those days. He scored 100 in 60 balls which is a new record for India. He is becoming a very important part of the Indian team. What amazes is that he does this regularly which increases the beleif in him. Also along with this is he is a very good test batsmen which is the best benchmark to judge a player. There also he is scoring big big hundreds. I think he is one of the best ODI openers which India has ever produced.
