what to sell on ebay? help

im planning to sell stuff on ebay to make a profit, i dont have much money to put out so i am wondering if anyone can help with ideas or experience... i want to buy something and re sell it.

Less than 25% (approx) of all auctions on eBay actually sell. You need to be able to be confident in what you are selling, have good products and do some research on those products, and have a good layout for your page. I suggest going with products you know something about. If you are a computers person, try computer products perhaps (though very hard to find cheap to resell), or try garage sales as the response above suggests.

Try going to garage sales and looking for things like a single piece of china - a tea cup or a plate - make sure it is in good condition - no chips, etc. People look on ebay for single pieces to their china collection - because the patterns get discontinued, etc. and if you have what they want, you may get a bidding war. Even small collectible figurines, etc. You can wrap these things in bubble wrap for shipping.
