I got two bonuses this week just cleaning! LOL

I once found 200.00 in my husband's suit jacket. The last time he wore the suit, we were in Las Vegas. He must have forgot that he told 200.00 and put it in his inside suit jacket. What a treat for me. Oh, and in case you were wondering, I forgot to tell him that I found the money....LOL.

Hi jillhill.Congratulations,i believe you were excited when you found them.I have had the similar experience.Such as i have ever found some money in the pocket of my trousers when i washed them.It was really an excited thing,little though it was,it could give you some unexpected suprings.LOL....

That is so cool that you found just the thing you were needing and didn't want to spend extra money on. I found an earring once when I was down on my hands and knees running the vacuum cleaner and using the crevice tool to clean by the woodwork. I was sure glad to see that earring. That was years ago when I wore the small earrings. Now, I wouldn't have much trouble finding them if I dropped them.

Your kidding right. Of course I have. can you say soap and soup as well, forgot put it in basement. tooth paste and trash bags. No wonder I went shopping again. My son put the stuff away but he put in basement and I had put up shelves upstairs. So I go and look and make a list of everything I'm almost out of. Thinking Wow we ate that already. So now I sent a box of stuff to my nephew as he just got laid-off and he has a little girl. So I had extra my roommate said no. I told him to put a sock in it. As he used to be homeless and if it wasn't for me he would be. So learn to share. Your friend onlydia

yeah i have gotten bonuses when i have cleaned and whe n i go through pants pockets i say if its in the pockets when i do luandry what i find is mine so sometimes my husband looses his change but i have found some weird things in the pockets.

Hahahaah! Wow!! Good for you. There were some times before that I opened a purse or wallet or something and there was unexpected money in there. And that seems to be a bonus to me =) hahaha

I love it when I am cleaning up and I find things I had forgotten I had. I as going through some if the kids summer stuff yesterday trying to figure out how much stuff they actually had that would fit them and I found some summer clothes I bought my daughter at the end of summer last year that I had forgotten about. My favorite is when I pull out an old jacket that I have not worn in a long time and there is money in the pocket.

My best bonus was when I had forgotten 75.00 in my jeans pocket and washed them. I put them in the dryer and when the clothes were dry, I opened the door to the dryer and found money falling out everywhere.. I closed the door and started the dryer over and went to tell my husband, when I came back to see if the clothes were completely dry, I found more.. It took me awhile to remember that I had left it in my jeans pocket.. It was almost like playing the lottery, I hit the jackpot..

Hey jill! That is so great! I know how you feel when you find stuff you forgot you had! I am in the middle of doing some cleaning myself! But, I did a major cleanout last spring so I don't think that I am going to be that lucky this time and find anything that I forgot about! But, you never know! I just might get lucky! I sure hope so! I love finding things I forgot about! It makes me feel so great! So wish me luck!

Hey there! Yes, I've gotten bonus too when cleaning. I remember I was cleaning my room and moving some stuffs there I found some pens I thought I lost. After scouring at my drawers I found my gatsby wax I thought I was out of. I also found my extra cellphone battery I thought I completely lost. Thanks God I found it.lol Have a nice day. Yesterday, I cleaned out the bag/purse that I had used in the US and there, carfully wrapped in an old envelope was $30 US dollars that I had put away to only use if the plane was delayed in the storm or something. When I went to the bank this morning I put it straight on my credit card. I felt good though and really quite virtuous! I often find things that I have carefully put away for Christmas or something like that. It always makes me happy. Blessings

I had a surprise not too long ago. I have canisters on my kitchen counter. One of them I use as a little junk container. I throw all my box tops in there to save them for the kids. Well before christmas I threw a $50 in there so I wouldn't use it till later. I completely forgot about it till a month ago when I was digging in the bottum to find all the box tops! I was like oh wow I forgot all about this....well I wish I didn't find it. It was spend that day or the next!

It is good that you found the items which you required.Some days ago i was just cleaning my closet and in my husband's coat pocket (he wore it only once during our marriage)i found Rs.512.I was more than happy.I told him about the money thing and he got suspicious that his dad might not have put the money into his pocket ,but when he asked his dad he said that he did not know anything about it and then it was party time.

Oh my gosh yes, I love when I find stuff that I had bought and then found some time later while cleaning...LOL, I will buy snack foods and put them in this bag I have in the back room for "rainy day" or "snowed in days" ... and I had forgot about the bag and when I did the laundry a couple weeks ago, I found some snack packs in there and I didnt have to run out for my sons lunch.. I then had a snack for him...LOL yes, finding things even around the house is great --especially when you do "major cleaning" or "spring cleaning"....LOL

Toilet paper is important unless it's rough..lol Can't ever have too much. Glad you found the envelopes and don't have to order more right now. I was looking for something the other day in a bedside table and found a magnifying glass and some sugarfree coffee candy. I was excited but then again it doesn't take much to excite me.
