yes i think it does influence in some degree, but i do agree strongly about the fact that what kind of environment we were brought in, like our families, the ultimate surrounding we are in since were born really influence our mental and emotional behavior. If you grew up in a dysnfunctional family where fighting, shouting, choking and cursing that becomes normal for you and thats what you tend to do too because thats what you think everybody is doing so you dont find that offensive or even dysfunctional too.

Definitely. As today's youngsters sport the hairstyle, stubble and the attires of our heroes they tend to emulate their constant stares in the movie posters and the other gimmicks. These people are fed with these crap movie after movie and they become immune to violence ultimately. You could very well see the difference in the attitude of the youngsters of the yesteryears who belong to Gaata rahe mera dhil of Dev Anand and today's youngster.

To some degree yes, to some degree no. Everyone watches violent movie, for the most part. Most of us don't then go around and slash our neighbors to bits. However, if you are already someone disturbed you might do this.

hi, I think people with mental problems or disturbance tend to follow it as they don't have any strength to think second time..

Yes they do influence people. but it isn a direct cause to a crime or something, because the personality of people is the result between the interaction of the DNA, the ambient in what that person grew up, and the own ideas that the person aquires with the ages.

Definately yes coz i've heard many incidents of crime done in the similar fashion as that in the movies n apart from these incidents i've read several news in the newspapers stating that a boy was killed trying to imitate his fav. superhero like jumping from a terrace in order to fly like superman. And i think that killing some1 in movies also has an impact on personal relations where people get killed by their near ones.

it does have an impact on the viewers! Like i to watch action movies (if there is no much bloodshed) and i have noticed that i am excited to watch action scenes (i start biting my nail!).
To many they have their own icons and start imitating like the hero does in the movie. Fighting and bullying is one of the most common actions people tend to get influenced to!
